CELESTIA Traditional Houses is a category A hotel. An excellently restored traditional house, with local island architecture, has four apartment-suites, and invites you to enjoy the very best life has to offer as it meets tradition and contemporary comfort with high quality facilities and a spacious environment. The unique stone building was built in 1851 by local builders and its architectural structure in the Venetian style is intrinsically connected with traditions and customs of the Leonzini family, local life and traditional architecture.

Three apartments are situated on the ground floor and have access to the marvelous terrace that blurs the boundary between home and garden, towards the 4 acres wildlife estate, while the fourth is located in the first floor of the building, called “anogi” in local Kytherian dialect, which can be reached by the old stone stairs through the main oak door and the patio.

We rent our apartments in the summer for any period needed and in winter per month or in consultation for a longer period. During the summer season (from May to September) there is a regular ferry from Kythera to Crete and vice verse. This makes the combination Kythera- Crete an ideal destination for island hopping.
